Tetherstone Bed and Breakfast in Harris, Outer Hebrides
Tetherstone is a comfortable croft house in the quiet coastal village of Northton, set in the outstanding scenery of south west Harris. It is excellently located for short walks to wonderful secluded beaches, the flower-covered machair, and heather hills.
If you are interested in bird watching, wild flora, geology or archaeology... this may be the place for your holiday. Northton is just a few minutes" drive from Leverburgh ferry terminal where the boats depart for the Uists and St Kilda. Nearby are restaurants, Scarista golf course, as well as sea, trout and salmon angling.
We have two attractive, double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Breakfast, traditional Scottish or a choice for other preferences, is carefully prepared and presented. The owners, Arabella and David (Jones) aim to provide a welcoming and informal stay for our guests and will do their best to assist with any information or help needed to discover all that Harris has to offer.
